Sam Querrey needed almost 2 hours to defeat veteran German Rainer Schuettler, 6-7 (9), 7-5, 6-3 and has made his first European grass court final, at London’s prestigious Queen’s Club.  Querrey can become the first player this season to win a tournament on hard courts, clay, and grass and can win his 1st grass title ever by beating fellow American Mardy Fish, who served flawlessly in defeating Feliciano Lopez, who took out Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals.

For Fish, who beat Lopez 6-3, 6-4 this morning, a win tomorrow will earn him his 4th career title and also his first on grass.  He should also jump up several spots from his current ranking of world # 90.  Fish upset defending champion Andy Murray on Thursday morning.

The final will be shown live on TTC at 9:30 AM EST.
