Caroline Giuliani, daughter of ex-mayor and failed presidential candidate, Rudy Giuliani, and long time WPIX news anchor Donna Hanover, was arrested today in New York City after allegedly shoplifting from a Sephora on East 86th St. in Manhattan.
The daughter of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after she was accused of shoplifting at an upscale makeup store on the upper East Side, police sources said.
Caroline Giuliani, the daughter of former NYC mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani and Donna Hanover, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at an East 86th Street Sephora. The Post reports that the Harvard student “was taken to Manhattan’s 19th Precinct stationhouse for processing” while the Daily News says the 20-year-old “was caught at Sephora about 3:30 p.m., sources said. Surveillance video is being reviewed by police.” A few years ago, it was reported that Caroline Giuliani was going by the name “Caroline Hanover.”
Normally, I’d say that if a person with obvious means is guilty of such a crime, that it’s a cry for attention, and that jail is unnecessary. I’m not going to be a hypocrite and differ from that, even though I know what her father would say if this happened and the crime was allegedly committed by one of yours or my kids.

Giuliani last made news in 2008 when she campaigned for Obama. Says a lot about her dear old dad.
