Erin Andrews

Hypocrite thy name is Elisabeth Hasselback…

Please watch this bitch’s teary bullshit apology.

Oh, thank you Urban Dictionary. Minus the racism aspect, this is spot on. It always baffles me when women like this get sympathy for stupid actions because of their delicate, feminine tears. Seriously, do you think Whoopi would have gotten sympathy if she cried at the drop of a hat? Oh, wait, she wouldn’t say something that stupid.

“1. Disarming White Woman Tears

When a white female bodied person realizes that what they said was blatantly racist and begins to panic, defend said statement and cry until she has garnered sympathy and pity for her plight purely by virtue of social love of milky white skin and the ideal of white barbie womanhood
white woman.” Reply

ESPN reporter Erin Andrews (above).

Unfortunately for Erin Andrews of ESPN, being a member of the cast of Dancing With the Stars hasn’t allowed her to forget a hotel room incident in which she was secretly videotaped through the peephole–especially since she is now being criticized for wearing skimpy outfits on the top rated ABC program.

Conservative View host Elisabeth Hasselback, who might be best known to sports fans as being the chick who picked the wrong Hasselback brother–Tim, who had a journeyman career, while his younger brother Matt Hasselback had a distinguished career for the Seattle Seahawks, said of Andrews’ outfits on Dancing With the Stars:

“In light of what happened and as illegal and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room … I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this – a little bit less – without the prison time!'”

Andrews countered by basically calling Hasselback, who campaigned for Sarah Palin in 2008, very stupid:

A “very shocked” Andrews, 32, spoke out about the slam, telling that Hasselbeck’s remarks were “a slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators.  The thing that I was most upset about is I felt she was mocking a situation,” she said. “As a mother and a woman, I’m disappointed she went there.”

Hasselback ate her words in apologizing publicly and privately to Andrews.  Listen to this nonsense she says she told her daughter: “Gracie, today mommy hurt someone’s feelings.”  Sure–bring the kid into it–the classic, “I have a big mouth and medieval views but don’t fire me because I have a kid” move.  Then, she was said to bawl into the cameras.  Take a look:
